YES WE CAN DAY! June 16, 2009

Can we make an impact on Pennsylvania’s investment in early education?

YES WE CAN!

Please join your fellow supporters of early education in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 16 by sharing your support with Governor Rendell, your state senator and state representative on

YES WE CAN DAY! June 16

It’s simple. On Tuesday, June 16

  • Call
  • Fax, or
  • Email

Your state senator, state representative, and Governor Rendell and say “I support continued investment in Pennsylvania’s early education programs such as Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts, Keystone STARS, Child Care Works, Nurse-Family Partnership, Head Start Supplemental, and Early Intervention because…” and add your reasons for supporting early education.

We will make it even easier!
We will send out a PA Promise alert with a quick email and sample letter you can customize on Tuesday. With the PA Promise alert, you can send your emails in less than five minutes!

If everyone calls, faxes, or emails their legislators and Governor Rendell on June 16, we can make a huge splash and show our leaders that their constituents do believe quality early education needs to be a priority.

YES WE CAN!

Please add YES WE CAN Day - June 16 - to your calendar and add “contact my legislators and Governor Rendell” to your to-do list for Tuesday. Even if you’ve contacted them before, please make a point of contacting them again on Tuesday, so they can see the real strength of support for young children across the state.

Early childhood organizations throughout the state are participating in YES WE CAN Day! Help us make a huge splash!

Thank you for standing up for Pennsylvania’s young children. Visit http://www.papromiseforchildren.com/ for more information.
